The Beginning...
At the heart of our nonprofit lies a mission born from grief and hope. Our family had been experiencing two unexpected losses: two cherished family members, Cellis Major Driffin, I & Cedric Moses Driffin.
In the face of this devastating grief, we chose to honor their memory by channeling our pain into something that would benefit our community.
CMD's Pantry is our full-service food pantry in Williamsburg County was born.
From the beginning, our goal was clear: to nourish and support those facing food insecurity in our community. We knew the pandemic had created even more challenges for struggling families.
